A Place of Grace

The hushed words we shared in that sacred place
That spoke of love divine and future dreams
Our solemn oath in a wish and a prayer
With radiant smiles beneath lunar beams
And we are one before the lady’s grace

The ropes that bind a man unto his wife
As by her side, he’s promised he will stay
And all he asks is she’ll be his to care
In handfast vow for a year and a day
For he is hers for the rest of his life
