Porthor

Form: Raven’s Rovi Sonnet 25

The ocean’s kisses ripple on the shore
Setting the rhythm for my love to dance
And my heart is lost in the silent awe
As my eyelids flutter behind the shades
I watch you dancing on the sandy beach
I hope the vison of you never fades
May you still linger there just out of reach
While I marvel in the joy of romance
The time has come to ask for a bit more
In this ancient land where nothing invades
A Bard seeks your heart so he may beseech
His desire as he yields his Celtic soul
To share the wine from an old loving bowl
And the ring of his heart to make love whole
