Two silhouettes twirl in rhythm, their shadows caught on the moonlit wall. My eyes watch without knowing their names nor the music of their dance. I can see they are caught in the moment, their eyes fixed on each other as they sway then spin and sway again.
Perhaps they are lovers enjoying the embrace of dance as the song wends its way through the pulse of their hearts. Perhaps!
Maybe they are married, but not to each other and the dance has them wrapped in the excitement of breaking the rules. Maybe!
I watch the shadows as if they have their own agenda, and I wonder can silhouettes kiss.
