Form: Ivorian Sonnet 54

My eyes close as you feel with fingertips
How soon you send my heart to its eclipse
As you gloss over my lips with your tongue
And I feel the gaze of your eyes hold me
A stolen glance that cannot be unsung
Among the glittering of starlit skies
I can feel it’s you at every turn
With the softness of breath teasing my sighs
As my eager senses begin to burn
With the warmth of your kiss setting me free
As my fingers grasp deep into your hips
A wordless reminder of where I yearn
For passion is beginning to arise
Within our bodies taut and highly strung
