Form: Choi’s Sonnet
Delicious silence sighs with contentment
And smiles like a sleeping innocent child
The sweet hint of the secret merriment
Of dreams and the wondering mind beguiled
Slowly breathing as the spirit runs wild
Imagination never meant to be mild
Silence embraces the different kind
Of thinking; sleeping with an open mind
Like the scent of sandalwood redefined
The words of love swirling in hues of grey
Smoke; for the mind’s eye can never be blind
It sees all there is in the light of day
Yet silence remains with nothing to say
When what will be will be and be what may
