The Last Love Song?

Form: Raven’s Rovi Sonnet 120

Like puddles of love the ink blots the page
Among the poetic lines of word sounds
The rovi sonnet ends to come of age
So many sonnets to come from one pen
But my heart is saddened – a new game play
So now it’s back to number one again
And writing words of love every day
For the sonnet is indeed a love song
The love of you, of gods, of things – love’s way
Is pure in all that lies within its ken
And like love songs the sonnet has no bounds
As it speaks to free a love from its cage
This rovi is not a song of so long
For tomorrow’s love is a brand new song
