Dacre was a songwriter best known for his song ‘Daisy Bell’. Born Frank Dean he chose to use the pen-names Harry Dacre or Henry Decker. Dacre’s first successful song was ‘The Ghost of Benjamin Binns.’ Sung by Harry Randall in 1885
