Where shadows commune with the summer breeze
The pulse of nature in the summer breeze
A butterfly dances beneath the trees
The echoes of love beating to one tune
As spirits of lovers dance to one tune
I remember your eyes sparkling the moon
As beneath the trees where I feel you here
In the leafy shadows, I see you here
For it’s in the woods I can call you near
How I miss you on the long summer nights
I need you now on these long summer nights
And to hold you close as my heart delights
Instead, life is empty, living a chore
Come to me, baby, come to me once more
