Morning Song
Form: Spanish Sonnet
The sun slowly rose in the eastern skies
As I felt the breath of love gently dawn
The whispered word to say my heart's reborn
Whene're I hear her call in passion's sighs
As the sun sets to mark the day's demise
I need not feel lost, alone nor forlorn
For like the breath that took the early morn
I see that love is drawn within her eyes.
Desire once locked away so deep inside
Cannot be bound or concealed anymore
One kiss released my heart to swiftly glide
Like cascading silk pools upon the floor
For love has reached out to where souls collide
In deep desire that is forevermore
